The first time i rented a villa in Nice I came from cold and rainy English fall weather and after a 90 minute flight I was presented with 30°C and the pleasant mildness, sound of crickets and small owls. When we were approaching the villa in a taxi I knew this vacation had to be a bit more special than our other vacations; I could see that we were driving to the turquoise colored sea again, the taxi pulled into a driveway that had a line of finely groomed palm trees on each side. We entered the villa and were instantly drawn to the view from the terrace window, hardly noticing the beautiful villa, we were looking over the calm Mediterranean at night, the moon had just risen from the sea behind a beautiful yacht, at this moment I knew that there was no turning back, I was coming here every chance I could get and wouldn’t rest until I had a villa like this on my own, and that’s just what I did.
